Symposium Summer School "Geoconservation of Kebumen Geopark"
The Head of Bapperida was a panelist at Symposium Summer School "Geoconservation of Kebumen Geopark" at the Luk Ulo Geology Campus (May 7). The event, which was also attended by Kebumen Regent Hj. Lilis Nuryani, was part of a series of Summer School activities held by the Geological Engineering Program, Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) with support from the School Equity Program – World Class University.
On that occasion he conveyed about Local Wisdom and Indigenous Knowledge in Kebumen Geopark, "A geopark is not merely tourism or geology. It is a living space." We hope this event will not merely become a routine activity, but that once it is over, the participants will become social machine of spreading the local wisdom found in the Kebumen Geopark
